I found Chapter through the "Dr. Ed Weir, PHD, Former Social Security Manager" Youtube channel. Late last year, I contacted Chapter to help me with existing Medicare coverage & the role the company I had retired from plays. I am writing you to thank & commend Jon Marchese for singularly giving me the information & confidence to speak to the folks involved - Social Security, my former employer and their preferred Healthcare provider. After having Medicare for several years along with a Plan "F" Supplement, my former employer switched me onto a Medicare "Advantage" plan for 2025 without my knowledge. When I received information on the new account, I thought they were replacing my Part "D" prescription plan only. I was still paying my Plan "F" dues but was unaware that I was under an "Advantage" plan. Jon Marchese was adamant in getting me to understand Plan "F" accounts were assured for life & cannot be rejected by medical facilities that take Medicare. That having both a Plan "F" & a Medicare Advantage Plan was "illegal". Both showed on my Medicare website page. Speaking to my former employer's representatives and the "Advantage" health care provider consistently misdirected & misled me. Had it not been for Jon Marchese's insistence on me understanding the laws around this, I would have caved. Instead, I stated that I would seek legal involvement if this was not corrected. The end result, after several glitches, was my original Medicare restored along with my Plan "F" Supplement. I cannot thank Jon & Chapter enough.
